Connect

Perplexity supports MCP connectors in its desktop apps and the Comet browser.

1. Create an API key in Nimply → Settings → Developers.
2. Open Settings → Connectors in the Perplexity app and add a connector.
3. Choose the remote/HTTP server type and enter:
   • URL: https://mcp.nimply.io/mcp
   • Header: Authorization: Bearer nim_live_YOUR_KEY
4. Save — the Nimply tools become available to Perplexity's assistant.

If your Perplexity version only supports local (command-based) connectors, use the mcp-remote bridge as the command.

Try it

• "What did my audience engage with most last month in Nimply?"
• "Research trending topics in my niche and draft three posts as Nimply drafts."

Troubleshooting

• Connector not calling tools — connectors may need to be toggled on per-thread; check the tools menu in the composer.
• 401 — recheck the header value; the whole string is Bearer nim_live_....
