Roadmap
What's shipped, what's in progress, and what we're exploring.
The short version of where the Nimply developer platform is heading. Released means live today; everything else is directional and unscheduled — we build in the order developers ask for things.
Released
All shipped July 2026:
- API v1 — REST API for workspace, channels, posts, and media, with workspace-scoped API keys and per-key scopes.
- OAuth 2.1 — authorization-code flow with PKCE and dynamic client registration, powering connector-style sign-in for MCP clients and integrations.
- MCP server —
https://mcp.nimply.io/mcpwith 16 tools covering channels, posts, media, analytics, and approvals. Guide. - Signed webhooks — HMAC-signed event delivery with retries and a test endpoint. Guide.
- Analytics endpoints — workspace, channel, and post metrics over the API.
- Approval workflow — request-approval / approve / reject endpoints with recorded decisions and comments.
- Bulk post creation — up to 50 posts per request with per-item results.
In progress
- Zapier directory listing — the Zapier integration is built; public directory listing is underway.
- Make directory listing — same for Make (Custom App today, public listing next).
- n8n community node —
@nimply/n8n-nodes-nimplyis built and headed for the community package registry.
Exploring
No commitments or dates — these are on our radar, roughly ordered by how often they come up:
- Org-level agency keys — one credential spanning multiple workspaces for agencies.
- Third-party app directory — a public directory of OAuth apps built on Nimply.
- CSV report exports — downloadable analytics reports (the JSON analytics endpoints already expose the data).
- Docs in additional languages — localized versions of this documentation.
- Inbox API — programmatic access to the unified inbox.
